Strawberry Vol 2

This video went completely viral and has over 80k views! A simplified 3.0 version will be coming in the future as this video felt like a bit of a mess to me. For one thing, I was switching from doing a multi-video to single video format for my recipes. There are a couple of these that are long form all-in-one.

This mead is fantastic, and it scored about a 44 at Mazer Cup with the one criticism being that it needed to have been a higher ABV. If that’s the only complaint, then I’d say this is a pretty solid recipe! I make a larger batch and set aside some bottles for competitions.

Primary:
1/2 Pack Mangrove Jack 05
2.52 lb Dutch Gold Clover Honey
Fermented as Traditional with TOSNA 2.0 Nutrient Schedule & GoFerm

Secondary:
Rack & Stabilize (Wait 24 Hours Before Adding Berries or Honey)
4lb Strawberries in Brew Bag – Remove Between 1.5-2 Weeks
1/4 tsp Tannin
1 tsp Lactose (Not Necessary)
Backsweetened with Tupelo Honey (Whatever Honey You Want – Keep Dessert Sweet)
